Among Project ORCHID implementing partner sites Drop-In Centres (DIC) play roles of variable importance. Particularly in urban sites, DICs can be the location where a substantial proportion of contacts occur and services are reached, whilst in more rural locations, outreach and secondary distributors (who supply commodities often in locations distant from the DIC in order to increase the access of commodities to community members) are of greater importance.
