Background:
International Border Area People’s welfare Organization is a voluntary Non- Governmental Organization registered under the society’s registration Act. 1860. Since the inception, the organisation has been given much importance to all round development of the people in the area and District has been carrying out developmental works with the available resources of the organization.

The organization with the support of the Project ORCHID has been operating in Kiphire district of Nagaland for the past one and half year. The inception of Harm Reduction implemented by the organization is immense, with tireless efforts and proper guidance from the present funding agent. The organization has been capacitated at all levels of the staff in the last project year.

Objective:

• To identify ways and improve harm reduction.
• To improve and expand our services to every possible individuals and groups.
• To identify HIV/ AIDS related needs and its beneficial existing programme.
• To identify possible responses and finding solution to problems.
• To find out their life style of risk behaviours.
• To find and design suitable services, strategies, such as NSEP, distribution of condom, STI and abscess management.
• To understand and reason the pattern of their mobility.
• To help them access health care services, through counselling and referrals.
